  • Chapter 7: Chapter: When the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah begin, it is forbidden for the one who wants to offer a sacrifice to remove anything from his hair, nails or skin

باب نَهْيِ مَنْ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرُ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ وَهُوَ مُرِيدُ التَّضْحِيَةِ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ مِنْ شَعْرِهِ أَوْ أَظْفَارِهِ شَيْئًا

Sahih Muslim 1977fBook 35, Hadith 56

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، أَوْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ ‏.‏

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of 'Amr b. Muslim with the same chain of transmitters.
