Surah Yunus, Ayah 22

هُوَ الَّذِیْ یُسَیِّرُكُمْ فِی الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا كُنْتُمْ فِی الْفُلْكِ ۚ وَجَرَیْنَ بِهِمْ بِرِیْحٍ طَیِّبَةٍ وَّفَرِحُوْا بِهَا جَآءَتْهَا رِیْحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَّجَآءَهُمُ الْمَوْجُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَّظَنُّوْۤا اَنَّهُمْ اُحِیْطَ بِهِمْ ۙ دَعَوُا اللّٰهَ مُخْلِصِیْنَ لَهُ الدِّیْنَ ۚ۬ لَىِٕنْ اَنْجَیْتَنَا مِنْ هٰذِهٖ لَنَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الشّٰكِرِیْنَ ۟
Transliteration
Huwa allathee yusayyirukum feealbarri walbahri hatta ithakuntum fee alfulki wajarayna bihim bireehin tayyibatinwafarihoo biha jaat-ha reehunAAasifun wajaahumu almawju min kulli makaninwathannoo annahum oheeta bihimdaAAawoo Allaha mukhliseena lahu addeenala-in anjaytana min hathihi lanakoonanna mina ashshakireen
Saheeh International
It is He who enables you to travel on land and sea until, when you are in ships and they sail with them by a good wind and they rejoice therein, there comes a storm wind and the waves come upon them from every place and they expect to be engulfed, they supplicate Allāh, sincere to Him in religion, "If You should save us from this, we will surely be among the thankful."
Al-Mukhtasar fi Tafsir
It is Allah Who makes people travel on the land, on foot or riding, and it is He Who makes them travel in ships on the sea. They sail in them with a good wind, which the people in them are glad about. Then a gale wind comes to them, and the waves of the sea come to them from every side, until when they are certain they will be destroyed they start to call upon Allah alone, not associating anything with Him, saying: 'If You save us from this deadly situation we will be truly thankful for what You have blessed us with.'
