Surah Taha, Ayah 117
Quran 20:117 · Ta-Ha · Makki · Para 16 · Page 320
فَقُلْنَا یٰۤاٰدَمُ اِنَّ هٰذَا عَدُوٌّ لَّكَ وَلِزَوْجِكَ فَلَا یُخْرِجَنَّكُمَا مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ فَتَشْقٰی ۟
Transliteration
Faqulna ya adamu innahatha AAaduwwun laka walizawjika falayukhrijannakuma mina aljannati fatashqa
Saheeh International
So We said, "O Adam, indeed this is an enemy to you and to your wife. Then let him not remove you from Paradise so you would suffer.
Al-Mukhtasar fi Tafsir
So I said: “O Adam, Iblis is your enemy and your wife’s enemy, so let him not take you and your wife out of paradise, by obeying him in what he whispers, in which case you will bear difficulties and hardship.
