اِنَّمَا كَانَ قَوْلَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ اِذَا دُعُوْۤا اِلَی اللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ لِیَحْكُمَ بَیْنَهُمْ اَنْ یَّقُوْلُوْا سَمِعْنَا وَاَطَعْنَا ؕ وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ ۟
Transliteration
Innama kana qawla almu/mineenaitha duAAoo ila Allahi warasoolihi liyahkumabaynahum an yaqooloo samiAAna waataAAna waola-ikahumu almuflihoon
Saheeh International
The only statement of the [true] believers when they are called to Allāh and His Messenger to judge between them is that they say, "We hear and we obey." And those are the successful.
Al-Mukhtasar fi Tafsir
When the believers are called towards Allah and His Messenger for him to judge between them, their only reaction is that they say, “We have heard his statement and obeyed his order”. Those who possess this characteristic are the ones who are successful in the world and the Hearafter.
