Surah Az-Zumar, Ayah 35

لِیُكَفِّرَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمْ اَسْوَاَ الَّذِیْ عَمِلُوْا وَیَجْزِیَهُمْ اَجْرَهُمْ بِاَحْسَنِ الَّذِیْ كَانُوْا یَعْمَلُوْنَ ۟
Transliteration
Liyukaffira Allahu AAanhum aswaa allatheeAAamiloo wayajziyahum ajrahum bi-ahsani allathee kanooyaAAmaloon
Saheeh International
That Allāh may remove from them the worst of what they did and reward them their due for the best of what they used to do.
Al-Mukhtasar fi Tafsir
So that Allah erases from them the worst sins that they used to do in the world, as they had repented from them and had turned towards their Lord, and rewards them according to the best deeds that they used to do.
