Surah Fussilat, Ayah 39

وَمِنْ اٰیٰتِهٖۤ اَنَّكَ تَرَی الْاَرْضَ خَاشِعَةً فَاِذَاۤ اَنْزَلْنَا عَلَیْهَا الْمَآءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ ؕ اِنَّ الَّذِیْۤ اَحْیَاهَا لَمُحْیِ الْمَوْتٰی ؕ اِنَّهٗ عَلٰی كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ ۟
Transliteration
Wamin ayatihi annaka taraal-arda khashiAAatan fa-itha anzalnaAAalayha almaa ihtazzat warabat inna allatheeahyaha lamuhyee almawta innahuAAala kulli shay-in qadeer
Saheeh International
And of His signs is that you see the earth stilled, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and grows. Indeed, He who has given it life is the Giver of Life to the dead. Indeed, He is over all things competent.
Al-Mukhtasar fi Tafsir
And also from among the signs of Allah that point towards His oneness and power to resurrect, is that you see the earth without any plants on it. Then, when He sends rainwater on it, it begins to move due to the hidden growth of seeds within it and it raises. Indeed, the being who revived this barren earth through growth is the one who will revive the dead and resurrect them to take them to account and requite them. Indeed, He is capable of everything; reviving the earth after it has become barren is not impossible for Him, nor is reviving the dead and resurrecting them from their graves.
