22:1
یٰۤاَیُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوْا رَبَّكُمْ ۚ اِنَّ زَلْزَلَةَ السَّاعَةِ شَیْءٌ عَظِیْمٌ ۟
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha annasuittaqoo rabbakum inna zalzalata assaAAati shay-onAAatheem
Saheeh International
O mankind, fear your Lord. Indeed, the convulsion of the [final] Hour is a terrible thing.
22:2
یَوْمَ تَرَوْنَهَا تَذْهَلُ كُلُّ مُرْضِعَةٍ عَمَّاۤ اَرْضَعَتْ وَتَضَعُ كُلُّ ذَاتِ حَمْلٍ حَمْلَهَا وَتَرَی النَّاسَ سُكٰرٰی وَمَا هُمْ بِسُكٰرٰی وَلٰكِنَّ عَذَابَ اللّٰهِ شَدِیْدٌ ۟
Transliteration
Yawma tarawnaha tathhalu kullumurdiAAatin AAamma ardaAAat watadaAAukullu thati hamlin hamlaha wataraannasa sukara wama hum bisukarawalakinna AAathaba Allahi shadeed
Saheeh International
On the Day you see it every nursing mother will be distracted from that [child] she was nursing, and every pregnant woman will abort her pregnancy, and you will see the people [appearing] intoxicated while they are not intoxicated; but the punishment of Allāh is severe.
22:3
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ یُّجَادِلُ فِی اللّٰهِ بِغَیْرِ عِلْمٍ وَّیَتَّبِعُ كُلَّ شَیْطٰنٍ مَّرِیْدٍ ۟ۙ
Transliteration
Wamina annasi man yujadilufee Allahi bighayri AAilmin wayattabiAAu kulla shaytaninmareed
Saheeh International
And of the people is he who disputes about Allāh without knowledge and follows every rebellious devil.
22:4
كُتِبَ عَلَیْهِ اَنَّهٗ مَنْ تَوَلَّاهُ فَاَنَّهٗ یُضِلُّهٗ وَیَهْدِیْهِ اِلٰی عَذَابِ السَّعِیْرِ ۟
Transliteration
Kutiba AAalayhi annahu man tawallahufaannahu yudilluhu wayahdeehi ila AAathabi assaAAeer
Saheeh International
It has been decreed for him [i.e., every devil] that whoever turns to him - he will misguide him and will lead him to the punishment of the Blaze.
22:5
یٰۤاَیُّهَا النَّاسُ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ فِیْ رَیْبٍ مِّنَ الْبَعْثِ فَاِنَّا خَلَقْنٰكُمْ مِّنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ مُّضْغَةٍ مُّخَلَّقَةٍ وَّغَیْرِ مُخَلَّقَةٍ لِّنُبَیِّنَ لَكُمْ ؕ وَنُقِرُّ فِی الْاَرْحَامِ مَا نَشَآءُ اِلٰۤی اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی ثُمَّ نُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوْۤا اَشُدَّكُمْ ۚ وَمِنْكُمْ مَّنْ یُّتَوَفّٰی وَمِنْكُمْ مَّنْ یُّرَدُّ اِلٰۤی اَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ لِكَیْلَا یَعْلَمَ مِنْ بَعْدِ عِلْمٍ شَیْـًٔا ؕ وَتَرَی الْاَرْضَ هَامِدَةً فَاِذَاۤ اَنْزَلْنَا عَلَیْهَا الْمَآءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ وَاَنْۢبَتَتْ مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍ بَهِیْجٍ ۟
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha annasuin kuntum fee raybin mina albaAAthi fa-inna khalaqnakummin turabin thumma min nutfatin thumma minAAalaqatin thumma min mudghatin mukhallaqatin waghayrimukhallaqatin linubayyina lakum wanuqirru fee al-arhami manashao ila ajalin musamman thumma nukhrijukum tiflanthumma litablughoo ashuddakum waminkum man yutawaffawaminkum man yuraddu ila arthali alAAumuri likaylayaAAlama min baAAdi AAilmin shay-an watara al-ardahamidatan fa-itha anzalna AAalayhaalmaa ihtazzat warabat waanbatat min kulli zawjin baheej
Saheeh International
O people, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind.
22:6
ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَاَنَّهٗ یُحْیِ الْمَوْتٰی وَاَنَّهٗ عَلٰی كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ ۟ۙ
Transliteration
Thalika bi-anna Allaha huwa alhaqquwaannahu yuhyee almawta waannahu AAala kullishay-in qadeer
Saheeh International
That is because Allāh is the True Reality and because He gives life to the dead and because He is over all things competent
22:7
وَّاَنَّ السَّاعَةَ اٰتِیَةٌ لَّا رَیْبَ فِیْهَا ۙ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ یَبْعَثُ مَنْ فِی الْقُبُوْرِ ۟
Transliteration
Waanna assaAAata atiyatunla rayba feeha waanna Allaha yabAAathu manfee alquboor
Saheeh International
And [that they may know] that the Hour is coming - no doubt about it - and that Allāh will resurrect those in the graves.
22:8
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ یُّجَادِلُ فِی اللّٰهِ بِغَیْرِ عِلْمٍ وَّلَا هُدًی وَّلَا كِتٰبٍ مُّنِیْرٍ ۟ۙ
Transliteration
Wamina annasi man yujadilufee Allahi bighayri AAilmin wala hudan walakitabin muneer
Saheeh International
And of the people is he who disputes about Allāh without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening book [from Him],
22:9
ثَانِیَ عِطْفِهٖ لِیُضِلَّ عَنْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰهِ ؕ لَهٗ فِی الدُّنْیَا خِزْیٌ وَّنُذِیْقُهٗ یَوْمَ الْقِیٰمَةِ عَذَابَ الْحَرِیْقِ ۟
Transliteration
Thaniya AAitfihi liyudillaAAan sabeeli Allahi lahu fee addunyakhizyun wanutheequhu yawma alqiyamati AAathabaalhareeq
Saheeh International
Twisting his neck [in arrogance] to mislead [people] from the way of Allāh. For him in the world is disgrace, and We will make him taste on the Day of Resurrection the punishment of the Burning Fire [while it is said],
22:10
ذٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ یَدٰكَ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَیْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِیْدِ ۟۠
Transliteration
Thalika bima qaddamat yadakawaanna Allaha laysa bithallaminlilAAabeed
Saheeh International
"That is for what your hands have put forth and because Allāh is not ever unjust to [His] servants."
22:11
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ یَّعْبُدُ اللّٰهَ عَلٰی حَرْفٍ ۚ فَاِنْ اَصَابَهٗ خَیْرُ طْمَاَنَّ بِهٖ ۚ وَاِنْ اَصَابَتْهُ فِتْنَةُ نْقَلَبَ عَلٰی وَجْهِهٖ ۚ۫ خَسِرَ الدُّنْیَا وَالْاٰخِرَةَ ؕ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِیْنُ ۟
Transliteration
Wamina annasi man yaAAbuduAllaha AAala harfin fa-in asabahukhayrun itmaanna bihi wa-in asabat-hu fitnatuninqalaba AAala wajhihi khasira addunya wal-akhiratathalika huwa alkhusranu almubeen
Saheeh International
And of the people is he who worships Allāh on an edge. If he is touched by good, he is reassured by it; but if he is struck by trial, he turns on his face [to unbelief]. He has lost [this] world and the Hereafter. That is what is the manifest loss.
22:12
یَدْعُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مَا لَا یَضُرُّهٗ وَمَا لَا یَنْفَعُهٗ ؕ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلٰلُ الْبَعِیْدُ ۟ۚ
Transliteration
YadAAoo min dooni Allahi ma layadurruhu wama la yanfaAAuhu thalikahuwa addalalu albaAAeed
Saheeh International
He invokes instead of Allāh that which neither harms him nor benefits him. That is what is the extreme error.
22:13
یَدْعُوْا لَمَنْ ضَرُّهٗۤ اَقْرَبُ مِنْ نَّفْعِهٖ ؕ لَبِئْسَ الْمَوْلٰی وَلَبِئْسَ الْعَشِیْرُ ۟
Transliteration
YadAAoo laman darruhu aqrabu minnafAAihi labi/sa almawla walabi/sa alAAasheer
Saheeh International
He invokes one whose harm is closer than his benefit - how wretched the protector and how wretched the associate.
22:14
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ یُدْخِلُ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِیْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ یَفْعَلُ مَا یُرِیْدُ ۟
Transliteration
Inna Allaha yudkhilu allatheenaamanoo waAAamiloo assalihati jannatintajree min tahtiha al-anharu inna AllahayafAAalu ma yureed
Saheeh International
Indeed, Allāh will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. Indeed, Allāh does what He intends.
22:15
مَنْ كَانَ یَظُنُّ اَنْ لَّنْ یَّنْصُرَهُ اللّٰهُ فِی الدُّنْیَا وَالْاٰخِرَةِ فَلْیَمْدُدْ بِسَبَبٍ اِلَی السَّمَآءِ ثُمَّ لْیَقْطَعْ فَلْیَنْظُرْ هَلْ یُذْهِبَنَّ كَیْدُهٗ مَا یَغِیْظُ ۟
Transliteration
Man kana yathunnu anlan yansurahu Allahu fee addunya wal-akhiratifalyamdud bisababin ila assama-i thummaliyaqtaAA falyanthur hal yuthhibannakayduhu ma yagheeth
Saheeh International
Whoever should think that Allāh will not support him [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)] in this world and the Hereafter - let him extend a rope to the ceiling, then cut off [his breath], and let him see: will his effort remove that which enrages [him]?
22:16
وَكَذٰلِكَ اَنْزَلْنٰهُ اٰیٰتٍ بَیِّنٰتٍ ۙ وَّاَنَّ اللّٰهَ یَهْدِیْ مَنْ یُّرِیْدُ ۟
Transliteration
Wakathalika anzalnahu ayatinbayyinatin waanna Allaha yahdee man yureed
Saheeh International
And thus have We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down as verses of clear evidence and because Allāh guides whom He intends.
22:17
اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَالَّذِیْنَ هَادُوْا وَالصّٰبِـِٕیْنَ وَالنَّصٰرٰی وَالْمَجُوْسَ وَالَّذِیْنَ اَشْرَكُوْۤا ۖۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ یَفْصِلُ بَیْنَهُمْ یَوْمَ الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰی كُلِّ شَیْءٍ شَهِیْدٌ ۟
Transliteration
Inna allatheena amanoo wallatheenahadoo wassabi-eena wannasarawalmajoosa wallatheena ashrakoo inna Allahayafsilu baynahum yawma alqiyamati inna AllahaAAala kulli shay-in shaheed
Saheeh International
Indeed, those who have believed and those who were Jews and the Sabeans and the Christians and the Magians and those who associated with Allāh - Allāh will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed Allāh is, over all things, Witness.
22:18
اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ یَسْجُدُ لَهٗ مَنْ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَنْ فِی الْاَرْضِ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ وَالنُّجُوْمُ وَالْجِبَالُ وَالشَّجَرُ وَالدَّوَآبُّ وَكَثِیْرٌ مِّنَ النَّاسِ ؕ وَكَثِیْرٌ حَقَّ عَلَیْهِ الْعَذَابُ ؕ وَمَنْ یُّهِنِ اللّٰهُ فَمَا لَهٗ مِنْ مُّكْرِمٍ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ یَفْعَلُ مَا یَشَآءُ ۟
Transliteration
Alam tara anna Allaha yasjudu lahuman fee assamawati waman fee al-ardiwashshamsu walqamaru wannujoomu waljibaluwashshajaru waddawabbu wakatheerun minaannasi wakatheerun haqqa AAalayhi alAAathabuwaman yuhini Allahu fama lahu min mukrimin inna AllahayafAAalu ma yasha/
Saheeh International
Do you not see [i.e., know] that to Allāh prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth and the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the moving creatures and many of the people? But upon many the punishment has been justified. And he whom Allāh humiliates - for him there is no bestower of honor. Indeed, Allāh does what He wills.
22:19
هٰذٰنِ خَصْمٰنِ اخْتَصَمُوْا فِیْ رَبِّهِمْ ؗ فَالَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا قُطِّعَتْ لَهُمْ ثِیَابٌ مِّنْ نَّارٍ ؕ یُصَبُّ مِنْ فَوْقِ رُءُوْسِهِمُ الْحَمِیْمُ ۟ۚ
Transliteration
Hathani khasmani ikhtasamoofee rabbihim fallatheena kafaroo quttiAAatlahum thiyabun min narin yusabbu min fawqiruoosihimu alhameem
Saheeh International
These are two adversaries who have disputed over their Lord. But those who disbelieved will have cut out for them garments of fire. Poured upon their heads will be scalding water
22:20
یُصْهَرُ بِهٖ مَا فِیْ بُطُوْنِهِمْ وَالْجُلُوْدُ ۟ؕ
Transliteration
Yusharu bihi ma fee butoonihimwaljulood
Saheeh International
By which is melted that within their bellies and [their] skins.
22:21
وَلَهُمْ مَّقَامِعُ مِنْ حَدِیْدٍ ۟
Transliteration
Walahum maqamiAAu min hadeed
Saheeh International
And for [striking] them are maces of iron.
22:22
كُلَّمَاۤ اَرَادُوْۤا اَنْ یَّخْرُجُوْا مِنْهَا مِنْ غَمٍّ اُعِیْدُوْا فِیْهَا ۗ وَذُوْقُوْا عَذَابَ الْحَرِیْقِ ۟۠
Transliteration
Kullama aradoo an yakhrujoominha min ghammin oAAeedoo feeha wathooqooAAathaba alhareeq
Saheeh International
Every time they want to get out of it [i.e., Hellfire] from anguish, they will be returned to it, and [it will be said], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire!"
22:23
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ یُدْخِلُ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِیْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ یُحَلَّوْنَ فِیْهَا مِنْ اَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَّلُؤْلُؤًا ؕ وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِیْهَا حَرِیْرٌ ۟
Transliteration
Inna Allaha yudkhilu allatheenaamanoo waAAamiloo assalihati jannatintajree min tahtiha al-anharu yuhallawnafeeha min asawira min thahabin walu/lu-anwalibasuhum feeha hareer
Saheeh International
Indeed, Allāh will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl, and their garments therein will be silk.
22:24
وَهُدُوْۤا اِلَی الطَّیِّبِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ ۖۚ وَهُدُوْۤا اِلٰی صِرَاطِ الْحَمِیْدِ ۟
Transliteration
Wahudoo ila attayyibimina alqawli wahudoo ila sirati alhameed
Saheeh International
And they had been guided [in worldly life] to good speech, and they were guided to the path of the Praiseworthy.
22:25
اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَیَصُدُّوْنَ عَنْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰهِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ الَّذِیْ جَعَلْنٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ سَوَآءَ لْعَاكِفُ فِیْهِ وَالْبَادِ ؕ وَمَنْ یُّرِدْ فِیْهِ بِاِلْحَادٍ بِظُلْمٍ نُّذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابٍ اَلِیْمٍ ۟۠
Transliteration
Inna allatheena kafaroo wayasuddoonaAAan sabeeli Allahi walmasjidi alharamiallathee jaAAalnahu linnasi sawaanalAAakifu feehi walbadi waman yurid feehibi-ilhadin bithulmin nuthiqhu min AAathabinaleem
Saheeh International
Indeed, those who have disbelieved and avert [people] from the way of Allāh and [from] al-Masjid al-Ḥarām, which We made for the people - equal are the resident therein and one from outside - and [also] whoever intends [a deed] therein of deviation [in religion] by wrongdoing - We will make him taste of a painful punishment.
22:26
وَاِذْ بَوَّاْنَا لِاِبْرٰهِیْمَ مَكَانَ الْبَیْتِ اَنْ لَّا تُشْرِكْ بِیْ شَیْـًٔا وَّطَهِّرْ بَیْتِیَ لِلطَّآىِٕفِیْنَ وَالْقَآىِٕمِیْنَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُوْدِ ۟
Transliteration
Wa-ith bawwa/na li-ibraheemamakana albayti an la tushrik bee shay-an watahhirbaytiya litta-ifeena walqa-imeenawarrukkaAAi assujood
Saheeh International
And [mention, O Muḥammad], when We designated for Abraham the site of the House, [saying], "Do not associate anything with Me and purify My House for those who perform ṭawāf and those who stand [in prayer] and those who bow and prostrate.
22:27
وَاَذِّنْ فِی النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ یَاْتُوْكَ رِجَالًا وَّعَلٰی كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ یَّاْتِیْنَ مِنْ كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِیْقٍ ۟ۙ
Transliteration
Waaththin fee annasibilhajji ya/tooka rijalan waAAalakulli damirin ya/teena min kulli fajjin AAameeq
Saheeh International
And proclaim to the people the ḥajj [pilgrimage]; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass -
22:28
لِّیَشْهَدُوْا مَنَافِعَ لَهُمْ وَیَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللّٰهِ فِیْۤ اَیَّامٍ مَّعْلُوْمٰتٍ عَلٰی مَا رَزَقَهُمْ مِّنْ بَهِیْمَةِ الْاَنْعَامِ ۚ فَكُلُوْا مِنْهَا وَاَطْعِمُوا الْبَآىِٕسَ الْفَقِیْرَ ۟ؗ
Transliteration
Liyashhadoo manafiAAa lahum wayathkurooisma Allahi fee ayyamin maAAloomatin AAalama razaqahum min baheemati al-anAAami fakuloo minhawaatAAimoo alba-isa alfaqeer
Saheeh International
That they may witness [i.e., attend] benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allāh on known [i.e., specific] days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. So eat of them and feed the miserable and poor.
22:29
ثُمَّ لْیَقْضُوْا تَفَثَهُمْ وَلْیُوْفُوْا نُذُوْرَهُمْ وَلْیَطَّوَّفُوْا بِالْبَیْتِ الْعَتِیْقِ ۟
Transliteration
Thumma lyaqdoo tafathahum walyoofoonuthoorahum walyattawwafoo bilbaytialAAateeq
Saheeh International
Then let them end their untidiness and fulfill their vows and perform ṭawāf around the ancient House."
22:30
ذٰلِكَ ۗ وَمَنْ یُّعَظِّمْ حُرُمٰتِ اللّٰهِ فَهُوَ خَیْرٌ لَّهٗ عِنْدَ رَبِّهٖ ؕ وَاُحِلَّتْ لَكُمُ الْاَنْعَامُ اِلَّا مَا یُتْلٰی عَلَیْكُمْ فَاجْتَنِبُوا الرِّجْسَ مِنَ الْاَوْثَانِ وَاجْتَنِبُوْا قَوْلَ الزُّوْرِ ۟ۙ
Transliteration
Thalika waman yuAAaththimhurumati Allahi fahuwa khayrun lahu AAindarabbihi waohillat lakumu al-anAAamu illa mayutla AAalaykum fajtaniboo arrijsa minaal-awthani wajtaniboo qawla azzoor
Saheeh International
That [has been commanded], and whoever honors the sacred ordinances of Allāh - it is best for him in the sight of his Lord. And permitted to you are the grazing livestock, except what is recited to you. So avoid the uncleanliness of idols and avoid false statement,
22:31
حُنَفَآءَ لِلّٰهِ غَیْرَ مُشْرِكِیْنَ بِهٖ ؕ وَمَنْ یُّشْرِكْ بِاللّٰهِ فَكَاَنَّمَا خَرَّ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ فَتَخْطَفُهُ الطَّیْرُ اَوْ تَهْوِیْ بِهِ الرِّیْحُ فِیْ مَكَانٍ سَحِیْقٍ ۟
Transliteration
Hunafaa lillahi ghayramushrikeena bihi waman yushrik billahi fakaannamakharra mina assama-i fatakhtafuhu attayruaw tahwee bihi arreehu fee makanin saheeq
Saheeh International
Inclining [only] to Allāh, not associating [anything] with Him. And he who associates with Allāh - it is as though he had fallen from the sky and was snatched by the birds or the wind carried him down into a remote place.
22:32
ذٰلِكَ ۗ وَمَنْ یُّعَظِّمْ شَعَآىِٕرَ اللّٰهِ فَاِنَّهَا مِنْ تَقْوَی الْقُلُوْبِ ۟
Transliteration
Thalika waman yuAAaththimshaAAa-ira Allahi fa-innaha min taqwaalquloob
Saheeh International
That [is so]. And whoever honors the symbols [i.e., rites] of Allāh - indeed, it is from the piety of hearts.
22:33
لَكُمْ فِیْهَا مَنَافِعُ اِلٰۤی اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی ثُمَّ مَحِلُّهَاۤ اِلَی الْبَیْتِ الْعَتِیْقِ ۟۠
Transliteration
Lakum feeha manafiAAu ilaajalin musamman thumma mahilluha ila albaytialAAateeq
Saheeh International
For you therein [i.e., the animals marked for sacrifice] are benefits for a specified term; then their place of sacrifice is at the ancient House.
22:34
وَلِكُلِّ اُمَّةٍ جَعَلْنَا مَنْسَكًا لِّیَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللّٰهِ عَلٰی مَا رَزَقَهُمْ مِّنْ بَهِیْمَةِ الْاَنْعَامِ ؕ فَاِلٰهُكُمْ اِلٰهٌ وَّاحِدٌ فَلَهٗۤ اَسْلِمُوْا ؕ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُخْبِتِیْنَ ۟ۙ
Transliteration
Walikulli ommatin jaAAalna mansakanliyathkuroo isma Allahi AAala marazaqahum min baheemati al-anAAami fa-ilahukum ilahunwahidun falahu aslimoo wabashshiri almukhbiteen
Saheeh International
And for every [religious] community We have appointed a rite [of sacrifice] that they may mention the name of Allāh over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. For your god is one God, so to Him submit. And, [O Muḥammad], give good tidings to the humble [before their Lord]
22:35
الَّذِیْنَ اِذَا ذُكِرَ اللّٰهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوْبُهُمْ وَالصّٰبِرِیْنَ عَلٰی مَاۤ اَصَابَهُمْ وَالْمُقِیْمِی الصَّلٰوةِ ۙ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنٰهُمْ یُنْفِقُوْنَ ۟
Transliteration
Allatheena itha thukiraAllahu wajilat quloobuhum wassabireenaAAala ma asabahum walmuqeemee assalatiwamimma razaqnahum yunfiqoon
Saheeh International
Who, when Allāh is mentioned, their hearts are fearful, and [to] the patient over what has afflicted them, and the establishers of prayer and those who spend from what We have provided them.
22:36
وَالْبُدْنَ جَعَلْنٰهَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ شَعَآىِٕرِ اللّٰهِ لَكُمْ فِیْهَا خَیْرٌ ۖۗ فَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللّٰهِ عَلَیْهَا صَوَآفَّ ۚ فَاِذَا وَجَبَتْ جُنُوْبُهَا فَكُلُوْا مِنْهَا وَاَطْعِمُوا الْقَانِعَ وَالْمُعْتَرَّ ؕ كَذٰلِكَ سَخَّرْنٰهَا لَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُوْنَ ۟
Transliteration
Walbudna jaAAalnahalakum min shaAAa-iri Allahi lakum feehakhayrun fathkuroo isma Allahi AAalayhasawaffa fa-itha wajabat junoobuhafakuloo minha waatAAimoo alqaniAAa walmuAAtarrakathalika sakhkharnaha lakum laAAallakumtashkuroon
Saheeh International
And the camels and cattle We have appointed for you as among the symbols [i.e., rites] of Allāh; for you therein is good. So mention the name of Allāh upon them when lined up [for sacrifice]; and when they are [lifeless] on their sides, then eat from them and feed the needy [who does not seek aid] and the beggar. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may be grateful.
22:37
لَنْ یَّنَالَ اللّٰهَ لُحُوْمُهَا وَلَا دِمَآؤُهَا وَلٰكِنْ یَّنَالُهُ التَّقْوٰی مِنْكُمْ ؕ كَذٰلِكَ سَخَّرَهَا لَكُمْ لِتُكَبِّرُوا اللّٰهَ عَلٰی مَا هَدٰىكُمْ ؕ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ ۟
Transliteration
Lan yanala Allaha luhoomuhawala dimaoha walakin yanaluhuattaqwa minkum kathalika sakhkharahalakum litukabbiroo Allaha AAala ma hadakumwabashshiri almuhsineen
Saheeh International
Their meat will not reach Allāh, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify Allāh for that [to] which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good.
22:38
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ یُدٰفِعُ عَنِ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا یُحِبُّ كُلَّ خَوَّانٍ كَفُوْرٍ ۟۠
Transliteration
Inna Allaha yudafiAAu AAaniallatheena amanoo inna Allaha la yuhibbukulla khawwanin kafoor
Saheeh International
Indeed, Allāh defends those who have believed. Indeed, Allāh does not like everyone treacherous and ungrateful.
22:39
اُذِنَ لِلَّذِیْنَ یُقٰتَلُوْنَ بِاَنَّهُمْ ظُلِمُوْا ؕ وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰی نَصْرِهِمْ لَقَدِیْرُ ۟ۙ
Transliteration
Othina lillatheena yuqataloonabi-annahum thulimoo wa-inna Allaha AAalanasrihim laqadeer
Saheeh International
Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allāh is competent to give them victory.
22:40
لَّذِیْنَ اُخْرِجُوْا مِنْ دِیَارِهِمْ بِغَیْرِ حَقٍّ اِلَّاۤ اَنْ یَّقُوْلُوْا رَبُّنَا اللّٰهُ ؕ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ اللّٰهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْضٍ لَّهُدِّمَتْ صَوَامِعُ وَبِیَعٌ وَّصَلَوٰتٌ وَّمَسٰجِدُ یُذْكَرُ فِیْهَا اسْمُ اللّٰهِ كَثِیْرًا ؕ وَلَیَنْصُرَنَّ اللّٰهُ مَنْ یَّنْصُرُهٗ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَقَوِیٌّ عَزِیْزٌ ۟
Transliteration
Allatheena okhrijoo min diyarihimbighayri haqqin illa an yaqooloo rabbuna Allahuwalawla dafAAu Allahi annasa baAAdahumbibaAAdin lahuddimat sawamiAAu wabiyaAAun wasalawatunwamasajidu yuthkaru feeha ismu Allahikatheeran walayansuranna Allahu man yansuruhuinna Allaha laqawiyyun AAazeez
Saheeh International
[They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right - only because they say, "Our Lord is Allāh." And were it not that Allāh checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allāh is much mentioned [i.e., praised]. And Allāh will surely support those who support Him [i.e., His cause]. Indeed, Allāh is Powerful and Exalted in Might.
22:41
اَلَّذِیْنَ اِنْ مَّكَّنّٰهُمْ فِی الْاَرْضِ اَقَامُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰتَوُا الزَّكٰوةَ وَاَمَرُوْا بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَنَهَوْا عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ ؕ وَلِلّٰهِ عَاقِبَةُ الْاُمُوْرِ ۟
Transliteration
Allatheena in makkannahum feeal-ardi aqamoo assalata waatawooazzakata waamaroo bilmaAAroofi wanahawAAani almunkari walillahi AAaqibatu al-omoor
Saheeh International
[And they are] those who, if We give them authority in the land, establish prayer and give zakāh and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. And to Allāh belongs the outcome of [all] matters.
22:42
وَاِنْ یُّكَذِّبُوْكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوْحٍ وَّعَادٌ وَّثَمُوْدُ ۟ۙ
Transliteration
Wa-in yukaththibooka faqad kaththabatqablahum qawmu noohin waAAadun wathamood
Saheeh International
And if they deny you, [O Muḥammad] - so, before them, did the people of Noah and ʿAad and Thamūd deny [their prophets],
22:43
وَقَوْمُ اِبْرٰهِیْمَ وَقَوْمُ لُوْطٍ ۟ۙ
Transliteration
Waqawmu ibraheema waqawmu loot
Saheeh International
And the people of Abraham and the people of Lot.
22:44
وَّاَصْحٰبُ مَدْیَنَ ۚ وَكُذِّبَ مُوْسٰی فَاَمْلَیْتُ لِلْكٰفِرِیْنَ ثُمَّ اَخَذْتُهُمْ ۚ فَكَیْفَ كَانَ نَكِیْرِ ۟
Transliteration
Waas-habu madyana wakuththibamoosa faamlaytu lilkafireena thumma akhathtuhumfakayfa kana nakeer
Saheeh International
And the inhabitants of Madyan. And Moses was denied, so I prolonged enjoyment for the disbelievers; then I seized them, and how [terrible] was My reproach.
22:45
فَكَاَیِّنْ مِّنْ قَرْیَةٍ اَهْلَكْنٰهَا وَهِیَ ظَالِمَةٌ فَهِیَ خَاوِیَةٌ عَلٰی عُرُوْشِهَا وَبِئْرٍ مُّعَطَّلَةٍ وَّقَصْرٍ مَّشِیْدٍ ۟
Transliteration
Fakaayyin min qaryatin ahlaknahawahiya thalimatun fahiya khawiyatunAAala AAurooshiha wabi/rin muAAattalatinwaqasrin masheed
Saheeh International
And how many a city did We destroy while it was committing wrong - so it is [now] fallen into ruin - and [how many] an abandoned well and [how many] a lofty palace.
22:46
اَفَلَمْ یَسِیْرُوْا فِی الْاَرْضِ فَتَكُوْنَ لَهُمْ قُلُوْبٌ یَّعْقِلُوْنَ بِهَاۤ اَوْ اٰذَانٌ یَّسْمَعُوْنَ بِهَا ۚ فَاِنَّهَا لَا تَعْمَی الْاَبْصَارُ وَلٰكِنْ تَعْمَی الْقُلُوْبُ الَّتِیْ فِی الصُّدُوْرِ ۟
Transliteration
Afalam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fatakoonalahum quloobun yaAAqiloona biha aw athanunyasmaAAoona biha fa-innaha la taAAmaal-absaru walakin taAAma alquloobu allateefee assudoor
Saheeh International
So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.
22:47
وَیَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ وَلَنْ یُّخْلِفَ اللّٰهُ وَعْدَهٗ ؕ وَاِنَّ یَوْمًا عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ كَاَلْفِ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّوْنَ ۟
Transliteration
WayastaAAjiloonaka bilAAathabiwalan yukhlifa Allahu waAAdahu wa-inna yawman AAindarabbika kaalfi sanatin mimma taAAuddoon
Saheeh International
And they urge you to hasten the punishment. But Allāh will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count.
22:48
وَكَاَیِّنْ مِّنْ قَرْیَةٍ اَمْلَیْتُ لَهَا وَهِیَ ظَالِمَةٌ ثُمَّ اَخَذْتُهَا ۚ وَاِلَیَّ الْمَصِیْرُ ۟۠
Transliteration
Wakaayyin min qaryatin amlaytu lahawahiya thalimatun thumma akhathtuhawa-ilayya almaseer
Saheeh International
And for how many a city did I prolong enjoyment while it was committing wrong. Then I seized it, and to Me is the [final] destination.
22:49
قُلْ یٰۤاَیُّهَا النَّاسُ اِنَّمَاۤ اَنَا لَكُمْ نَذِیْرٌ مُّبِیْنٌ ۟ۚ
Transliteration
Qul ya ayyuha annasuinnama ana lakum natheerun mubeen
Saheeh International
Say, "O people, I am only to you a clear warner."
22:50
فَالَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُمْ مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَّرِزْقٌ كَرِیْمٌ ۟
Transliteration
Fallatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati lahum maghfiratunwarizqun kareem
Saheeh International
And those who have believed and done righteous deeds - for them is forgiveness and noble provision.
22:51
وَالَّذِیْنَ سَعَوْا فِیْۤ اٰیٰتِنَا مُعٰجِزِیْنَ اُولٰٓىِٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ الْجَحِیْمِ ۟
Transliteration
Wallatheena saAAaw fee ayatinamuAAajizeena ola-ika as-habu aljaheem
Saheeh International
But the ones who strove against Our verses, [seeking] to cause failure - those are the companions of Hellfire.
22:52
وَمَاۤ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رَّسُوْلٍ وَّلَا نَبِیٍّ اِلَّاۤ اِذَا تَمَنّٰۤی اَلْقَی الشَّیْطٰنُ فِیْۤ اُمْنِیَّتِهٖ ۚ فَیَنْسَخُ اللّٰهُ مَا یُلْقِی الشَّیْطٰنُ ثُمَّ یُحْكِمُ اللّٰهُ اٰیٰتِهٖ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِیْمٌ حَكِیْمٌ ۟ۙ
Transliteration
Wama arsalna min qablika minrasoolin wala nabiyyin illa itha tamannaalqa ashshaytanu fee omniyyatihi fayansakhuAllahu ma yulqee ashshaytanu thummayuhkimu Allahu ayatihi wallahuAAaleemun hakeem
Saheeh International
And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he spoke [or recited], Satan threw into it [some misunderstanding]. But Allāh abolishes that which Satan throws in; then Allāh makes precise His verses. And Allāh is Knowing and Wise.
22:53
لِّیَجْعَلَ مَا یُلْقِی الشَّیْطٰنُ فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِیْنَ فِیْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌ وَّالْقَاسِیَةِ قُلُوْبُهُمْ ؕ وَاِنَّ الظّٰلِمِیْنَ لَفِیْ شِقَاقٍ بَعِیْدٍ ۟ۙ
Transliteration
LiyajAAala ma yulqee ashshaytanufitnatan lillatheena fee quloobihim maradun walqasiyatiquloobuhum wa-inna aththalimeenalafee shiqaqin baAAeed
Saheeh International
[That is] so He may make what Satan throws in [i.e., asserts] a trial for those within whose hearts is disease and those hard of heart. And indeed, the wrongdoers are in extreme dissension.
22:54
وَّلِیَعْلَمَ الَّذِیْنَ اُوْتُوا الْعِلْمَ اَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّكَ فَیُؤْمِنُوْا بِهٖ فَتُخْبِتَ لَهٗ قُلُوْبُهُمْ ؕ وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَهَادِ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اِلٰی صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِیْمٍ ۟
Transliteration
WaliyaAAlama allatheena ootooalAAilma annahu alhaqqu min rabbika fayu/minoo bihifatukhbita lahu quloobuhum wa-inna Allaha lahadiallatheena amanoo ila siratinmustaqeem
Saheeh International
And so those who were given knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord and [therefore] believe in it, and their hearts humbly submit to it. And indeed is Allāh the Guide of those who have believed to a straight path.
22:55
وَلَا یَزَالُ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا فِیْ مِرْیَةٍ مِّنْهُ حَتّٰی تَاْتِیَهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً اَوْ یَاْتِیَهُمْ عَذَابُ یَوْمٍ عَقِیْمٍ ۟
Transliteration
Wala yazalu allatheenakafaroo fee miryatin minhu hatta ta/tiyahumu assaAAatubaghtatan aw ya/tiyahum AAathabu yawmin AAaqeem
Saheeh International
But those who disbelieve will not cease to be in doubt of it until the Hour comes upon them unexpectedly or there comes to them the punishment of a barren Day.
22:56
اَلْمُلْكُ یَوْمَىِٕذٍ لِّلّٰهِ ؕ یَحْكُمُ بَیْنَهُمْ ؕ فَالَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فِیْ جَنّٰتِ النَّعِیْمِ ۟
Transliteration
Almulku yawma-ithin lillahi yahkumubaynahum fallatheena amanoo waAAamiloo assalihatifee jannati annaAAeem
Saheeh International
[All] sovereignty that Day is for Allāh; He will judge between them. So they who believed and did righteous deeds will be in the Gardens of Pleasure.
22:57
وَالَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَكَذَّبُوْا بِاٰیٰتِنَا فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِیْنٌ ۟۠
Transliteration
Wallatheena kafaroo wakaththaboobi-ayatina faola-ika lahum AAathabunmuheen
Saheeh International
And they who disbelieved and denied Our signs - for those there will be a humiliating punishment.
22:58
وَالَّذِیْنَ هَاجَرُوْا فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ قُتِلُوْۤا اَوْ مَاتُوْا لَیَرْزُقَنَّهُمُ اللّٰهُ رِزْقًا حَسَنًا ؕ وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَهُوَ خَیْرُ الرّٰزِقِیْنَ ۟
Transliteration
Wallatheena hajaroofee sabeeli Allahi thumma qutiloo aw matoolayarzuqannahumu Allahu rizqan hasanan wa-inna Allahalahuwa khayru arraziqeen
Saheeh International
And those who emigrated for the cause of Allāh and then were killed or died - Allāh will surely provide for them a good provision. And indeed, it is Allāh who is the best of providers.
22:59
لَیُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ مُّدْخَلًا یَّرْضَوْنَهٗ ؕ وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَعَلِیْمٌ حَلِیْمٌ ۟
Transliteration
Layudkhilannahum mudkhalan yardawnahuwa-inna Allaha laAAaleemun haleem
Saheeh International
He will surely cause them to enter an entrance with which they will be pleased, and indeed, Allāh is Knowing and Forbearing.
22:60
ذٰلِكَ ۚ وَمَنْ عَاقَبَ بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوْقِبَ بِهٖ ثُمَّ بُغِیَ عَلَیْهِ لَیَنْصُرَنَّهُ اللّٰهُ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُوْرٌ ۟
Transliteration
Thalika waman AAaqaba bimithlima AAooqiba bihi thumma bughiya AAalayhi layansurannahuAllahu inna Allaha laAAafuwwun ghafoor
Saheeh International
That [is so]. And whoever responds [to injustice] with the equivalent of that with which he was harmed and then is tyrannized - Allāh will surely aid him. Indeed, Allāh is Pardoning and Forgiving.
22:61
ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّ اللّٰهَ یُوْلِجُ الَّیْلَ فِی النَّهَارِ وَیُوْلِجُ النَّهَارَ فِی الَّیْلِ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ سَمِیْعٌ بَصِیْرٌ ۟
Transliteration
Thalika bi-anna Allaha yoolijuallayla fee annahari wayooliju annaharafee allayli waanna Allaha sameeAAun baseer
Saheeh International
That is because Allāh causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and because Allāh is Hearing and Seeing.
22:62
ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَاَنَّ مَا یَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖ هُوَ الْبَاطِلُ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الْعَلِیُّ الْكَبِیْرُ ۟
Transliteration
Thalika bi-anna Allaha huwa alhaqquwaanna ma yadAAoona min doonihi huwa albatiluwaanna Allaha huwa alAAaliyyu alkabeer
Saheeh International
That is because Allāh is the True Reality, and that which they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and because Allāh is the Most High, the Grand.
22:63
اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ اَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً ؗ فَتُصْبِحُ الْاَرْضُ مُخْضَرَّةً ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَطِیْفٌ خَبِیْرٌ ۟ۚ
Transliteration
Alam tara anna Allaha anzala mina assama-imaan fatusbihu al-ardu mukhdarrataninna Allaha lateefun khabeer
Saheeh International
Do you not see that Allāh has sent down rain from the sky and the earth becomes green? Indeed, Allāh is Subtle and Aware.
22:64
لَهٗ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِی الْاَرْضِ ؕ وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَهُوَ الْغَنِیُّ الْحَمِیْدُ ۟۠
Transliteration
Lahu ma fee assamawatiwama fee al-ardi wa-inna Allaha lahuwaalghaniyyu alhameed
Saheeh International
To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth. And indeed, Allāh is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.
22:65
اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُمْ مَّا فِی الْاَرْضِ وَالْفُلْكَ تَجْرِیْ فِی الْبَحْرِ بِاَمْرِهٖ ؕ وَیُمْسِكُ السَّمَآءَ اَنْ تَقَعَ عَلَی الْاَرْضِ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِهٖ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِالنَّاسِ لَرَءُوْفٌ رَّحِیْمٌ ۟
Transliteration
Alam tara anna Allaha sakhkhara lakumma fee al-ardi walfulka tajree fee albahribi-amrihi wayumsiku assamaa an taqaAAa AAalaal-ardi illa bi-ithnihi inna Allahabinnasi laraoofun raheem
Saheeh International
Do you not see that Allāh has subjected to you whatever is on the earth and the ships which run through the sea by His command? And He restrains the sky from falling upon the earth, unless by His permission. Indeed Allāh, to the people, is Kind and Merciful.
22:66
وَهُوَ الَّذِیْۤ اَحْیَاكُمْ ؗ ثُمَّ یُمِیْتُكُمْ ثُمَّ یُحْیِیْكُمْ ؕ اِنَّ الْاِنْسَانَ لَكَفُوْرٌ ۟
Transliteration
Wahuwa allathee ahyakumthumma yumeetukum thumma yuhyeekum inna al-insanalakafoor
Saheeh International
And He is the one who gave you life; then He causes you to die and then will [again] give you life. Indeed, mankind is ungrateful.
22:67
لِكُلِّ اُمَّةٍ جَعَلْنَا مَنْسَكًا هُمْ نَاسِكُوْهُ فَلَا یُنَازِعُنَّكَ فِی الْاَمْرِ وَادْعُ اِلٰی رَبِّكَ ؕ اِنَّكَ لَعَلٰی هُدًی مُّسْتَقِیْمٍ ۟
Transliteration
Likulli ommatin jaAAalna mansakan humnasikoohu fala yunaziAAunnaka fee al-amri wadAAuila rabbika innaka laAAala hudan mustaqeem
Saheeh International
For every [religious] community We have appointed rites which they perform. So, [O Muḥammad], let them [i.e., the disbelievers] not contend with you over the matter but invite [them] to your Lord. Indeed, you are upon straight guidance.
22:68
وَاِنْ جٰدَلُوْكَ فَقُلِ اللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ۟
Transliteration
Wa-in jadalooka faquli AllahuaAAlamu bima taAAmaloon
Saheeh International
And if they dispute with you, then say, "Allāh is most knowing of what you do.
22:69
اَللّٰهُ یَحْكُمُ بَیْنَكُمْ یَوْمَ الْقِیٰمَةِ فِیْمَا كُنْتُمْ فِیْهِ تَخْتَلِفُوْنَ ۟
Transliteration
Allahu yahkumu baynakum yawmaalqiyamati feema kuntum feehi takhtalifoon
Saheeh International
Allāh will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which you used to differ."
22:70
اَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ یَعْلَمُ مَا فِی السَّمَآءِ وَالْاَرْضِ ؕ اِنَّ ذٰلِكَ فِیْ كِتٰبٍ ؕ اِنَّ ذٰلِكَ عَلَی اللّٰهِ یَسِیْرٌ ۟
Transliteration
Alam taAAlam anna Allaha yaAAlamu mafee assama-i wal-ardi inna thalikafee kitabin inna thalika AAala Allahiyaseer
Saheeh International
Do you not know that Allāh knows what is in the heaven and earth? Indeed, that is in a Record. Indeed that, for Allāh, is easy.
22:71
وَیَعْبُدُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مَا لَمْ یُنَزِّلْ بِهٖ سُلْطٰنًا وَّمَا لَیْسَ لَهُمْ بِهٖ عِلْمٌ ؕ وَمَا لِلظّٰلِمِیْنَ مِنْ نَّصِیْرٍ ۟
Transliteration
WayaAAbudoona min dooni Allahi malam yunazzil bihi sultanan wama laysa lahum bihiAAilmun wama liththalimeenamin naseer
Saheeh International
And they worship besides Allāh that for which He has not sent down authority and that of which they have no knowledge. And there will not be for the wrongdoers any helper.
22:72
وَاِذَا تُتْلٰی عَلَیْهِمْ اٰیٰتُنَا بَیِّنٰتٍ تَعْرِفُ فِیْ وُجُوْهِ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوا الْمُنْكَرَ ؕ یَكَادُوْنَ یَسْطُوْنَ بِالَّذِیْنَ یَتْلُوْنَ عَلَیْهِمْ اٰیٰتِنَا ؕ قُلْ اَفَاُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِشَرٍّ مِّنْ ذٰلِكُمْ ؕ اَلنَّارُ ؕ وَعَدَهَا اللّٰهُ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا ؕ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِیْرُ ۟۠
Transliteration
Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunabayyinatin taAArifu fee wujoohi allatheena kafarooalmunkara yakadoona yastoona billatheenayatloona AAalayhim ayatina qulafaonabbi-okum bisharrin min thalikum annaruwaAAadaha Allahu allatheena kafaroo wabi/saalmaseer
Saheeh International
And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, you recognize in the faces of those who disbelieve disapproval. They are almost on the verge of assaulting those who recite to them Our verses. Say, "Then shall I inform you of [what is] worse than that? [It is] the Fire which Allāh has promised those who disbelieve, and wretched is the destination."
22:73
یٰۤاَیُّهَا النَّاسُ ضُرِبَ مَثَلٌ فَاسْتَمِعُوْا لَهٗ ؕ اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ تَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ لَنْ یَّخْلُقُوْا ذُبَابًا وَّلَوِ اجْتَمَعُوْا لَهٗ ؕ وَاِنْ یَّسْلُبْهُمُ الذُّبَابُ شَیْـًٔا لَّا یَسْتَنْقِذُوْهُ مِنْهُ ؕ ضَعُفَ الطَّالِبُ وَالْمَطْلُوْبُ ۟
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha annasuduriba mathalun fastamiAAoo lahu inna allatheenatadAAoona min dooni Allahi lan yakhluqoo thubabanwalawi ijtamaAAoo lahu wa-in yaslubuhumu aththubabushay-an la yastanqithoohu minhu daAAufa attalibuwalmatloob
Saheeh International
O people, an example is presented, so listen to it. Indeed, those you invoke besides Allāh will never create [as much as] a fly, even if they gathered together for it [i.e., that purpose]. And if the fly should steal from them a [tiny] thing, they could not recover it from him. Weak are the pursuer and pursued.
22:74
مَا قَدَرُوا اللّٰهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهٖ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَقَوِیٌّ عَزِیْزٌ ۟
Transliteration
Ma qadaroo Allaha haqqaqadrihi inna Allaha laqawiyyun AAazeez
Saheeh International
They have not appraised Allāh with true appraisal. Indeed, Allāh is Powerful and Exalted in Might.
22:75
اَللّٰهُ یَصْطَفِیْ مِنَ الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِ رُسُلًا وَّمِنَ النَّاسِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَمِیْعٌ بَصِیْرٌ ۟ۚ
Transliteration
Allahu yastafee mina almala-ikatirusulan wamina annasi inna Allaha sameeAAunbaseer
Saheeh International
Allāh chooses from the angels messengers and from the people. Indeed, Allāh is Hearing and Seeing.
22:76
یَعْلَمُ مَا بَیْنَ اَیْدِیْهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ؕ وَاِلَی اللّٰهِ تُرْجَعُ الْاُمُوْرُ ۟
Transliteration
YaAAlamu ma bayna aydeehim wamakhalfahum wa-ila Allahi turjaAAu al-omoor
Saheeh International
He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them. And to Allāh will be returned [all] matters.
22:77
یٰۤاَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوا ارْكَعُوْا وَاسْجُدُوْا وَاعْبُدُوْا رَبَّكُمْ وَافْعَلُوا الْخَیْرَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُوْنَ ۟
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooirkaAAoo wasjudoo waAAbudoo rabbakum wafAAalooalkhayra laAAallakum tuflihoon
Saheeh International
O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good - that you may succeed.
22:78
وَجَاهِدُوْا فِی اللّٰهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهٖ ؕ هُوَ اجْتَبٰىكُمْ وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَیْكُمْ فِی الدِّیْنِ مِنْ حَرَجٍ ؕ مِلَّةَ اَبِیْكُمْ اِبْرٰهِیْمَ ؕ هُوَ سَمّٰىكُمُ الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ ۙ۬ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَفِیْ هٰذَا لِیَكُوْنَ الرَّسُوْلُ شَهِیْدًا عَلَیْكُمْ وَتَكُوْنُوْا شُهَدَآءَ عَلَی النَّاسِ ۖۚ فَاَقِیْمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰتُوا الزَّكٰوةَ وَاعْتَصِمُوْا بِاللّٰهِ ؕ هُوَ مَوْلٰىكُمْ ۚ فَنِعْمَ الْمَوْلٰی وَنِعْمَ النَّصِیْرُ ۟۠
Transliteration
Wajahidoo fee Allahi haqqajihadihi huwa ijtabakum wama jaAAalaAAalaykum fee addeeni min harajin millata abeekumibraheema huwa sammakumu almuslimeena min qabluwafee hatha liyakoona arrasoolu shaheedanAAalaykum watakoonoo shuhadaa AAala annasifaaqeemoo assalata waatoo azzakatawaAAtasimoo billahi huwa mawlakumfaniAAma almawla waniAAma annaseer
Saheeh International
And strive for Allāh with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. He [i.e., Allāh] named you "Muslims" before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakāh and hold fast to Allāh. He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper.
